What is the other name for Elephant tooth?

Okay so I have four elephant teeth in my mouth, they are teeth that sprout up from the gums or break off from the other teeth. I think. Can anyone tell me what the non-slang name is for them? I cant remember. Or if its possible could you tell me how to get them removed? Because they hurt extremely.
