Can you make A sim not know another sim?

I'm trying to make long-lost twins on Sims. I want the dad to move out with the girl, and the boy to move out with the mom. is there ANY way possible I could make the twins not know each other? I've tried the Sim modder too, but I don't want to play around with the boolprop cheat
