What happens when a sim in your household get another sim not in your household pregnant?

I have a sim in sims 3, and I have been playing sims christmas, but I wanna know, can a sims get another sim not in my household pregnant? If so, would that sims move in? If not, would my sim have to pay child support along with bills?!
