Ideal husband for queen elizabeth I ?

Hard to say. She was very keen on Robert Dudely when she was young, but whether he was an ideal husband for her is another matter. None of her other suitors pleased her enough to take a chance on marrying them. She did seem to be genuinely attracted by the Duc d'Alencon when he came to England, but perhaps she was just having a bit of fun. I don't think she really ever meant to marry anyone.
